Ever since Zhang Jin’an and Jiang Siyang went public with their relationship, the #ZhangYangUnstoppable# Super Topic had seen a massive surge in members, and Tuan Yuan’s Weibo follower count had been steadily climbing.
Many people joined Tuan Yuan in scavenging for "sugar," and her pinned Weibo post had been reposted thousands of times. Aside from Zhang Jin’an and Jiang Siyang’s own fans, fans of other celebrities had also shared it, mostly with captions like: "Repost this Tuan Yuan, and your ship will come true too."
Overnight, Tuan Yuan went from being a fan-fiction writer to the "lucky koi" of the shipping community; everyone came to her page to pay their respects. However, it took Tuan Yuan two days to log back into Weibo, and once she did, she was completely stunned.
[@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: I’m back from my internet hiatus??? How did my follower count suddenly jump to over a hundred thousand?
[@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: I just checked the trending searches, and my hands are literally shaking... I’m dizzy, I’m actually dizzy... Thank you, everyone, thank you so much. I never thought my manifesting would actually come true, waaaah!
[@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: Ahhhhhhh, "I was born to love you." I’m in tears. Looking back at what I wrote, my level isn't even in the same league as theirs. I’m making that my bio! I’m writing it into the story!
[@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: I strongly suspect Big Brother’s heart was already fluttering back in that episode of *Starry Friday*. Damn it, who hasn't seen that viral GIF of the two of them looking at each other on the mountain top?
[@AnonymousContestantGrossedOutByKuaishou] replied to [@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: That image has already become a legendary tier-one photo in the fandom.
[@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: I really didn't misjudge these two. They’re so open and honest, afraid of nothing. "We love each other earnestly"—that was so well-written. Every word reflects how serious they are about this relationship. Remember when a reporter asked Big Brother if he’d go public if he had a partner? He said he definitely would, and that he’d let everyone know even before the media did. From that moment on, I knew he was a truly sincere person.
And I never expected Yang, who only posts on Weibo once every half-month, to write such a pinned post. It’s too romantic! He’s too good at this!
[@PlumBlossomsOnlyInOctober] replied to [@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: If you ask me, my Big Brother is truly the man. Going public directly and giving the media zero chance to scoop him.
[@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan] replied to []: Exactly!!! I love it so much!! He truly is the man I adore.
[@PlumBlossomsOnlyInOctober] replied to [@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: Do you love him or his boyfriend?
[@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan] replied to [@PlumBlossomsOnlyInOctober]: Fine, I’m a bit more thirsty for his boyfriend [crying]. Yang’s pinned post was so gentle and beautiful, I’m swooning. They’re more romantic than a novel.
[@IJustSawAnActressSpitOutACentipede] replied to [@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: Sigh, but because of this, some people have started attacking them.
[@ItsVerySadButIfISayItEveryoneWillThinkItsFunny] replied to [@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: Here they come, here they come. The "if everyone is gay, how will humanity reproduce?" squad has arrived, along with the "they're a bad influence on children" squad. What’s the matter? They’re both top-tier students with excellent character, but I don't see you lot trying to emulate that. Is your lineage some kind of royal succession? Why do you need descendants so badly?
[@DidMyBabyGetASkinToday] replied to [@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: To be real, even if they weren't together, they wouldn't give these bottom-feeders the time of day, right?
[@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: Zhang Jin’an has participated in so many LGBT events; I’m not surprised at all that he went public. I would’ve found it stranger if he’d kept it a secret.
[@FounderOfHomework] replied to [@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: Exactly! But going public still requires courage and a plan to handle the aftermath! Anyway, I love these two men to death!
[@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan] replied to [@FounderOfHomework]: Sigh, who doesn't love them?
[@SystemRestrictedTuanYuan]: I absolutely cannot accept anyone badmouthing them.
Big Brother goes without saying. His professional skills are obvious to everyone, and in private, he speaks to fans like they’re friends. Last time, when a fan was hit by a bicycle, he immediately asked if they were okay and quickly helped stop the bleeding and treat the wound, only leaving once the fan’s friends arrived. Then there was that hidden camera show—the one simulating what to do if you accidentally discover a human trafficker. A girl was having a dispute with a man in front of him, and the man tried to forcibly drag her away. Big Brother rushed in immediately to stop the man and called the police without hesitation. The words he said left a deep impression on me: "There is no reason that justifies doing something so crude in public." Exactly. Regardless of the situation, hitting and dragging someone in the street is wrong. Big Brother is brave and upright. Although I often say I’m a fan of Yang, who wouldn't cherish Big Brother?
And then there’s Siyang. The reason I love him so much is simply because he is too good. I started liking him during a performance at a shopping mall. I didn't know him back then; I was just there with my mom. I was curious about who the handsome guy on stage was, so I stayed to watch. Later, there was an audience interaction segment, and I was lucky enough to be chosen.
I was in my third year of middle school then. I was chubby, plain, and had buckteeth. At school, I was actually mocked by boys for being ugly and short. They often took pictures of non-human things and said they were me. During that time, my mental state was terrible, and my grades were plummeting. I was originally on track for a top-tier high school, but at that point, I was struggling to even qualify for a vocational school. That day, my mom was taking me home after seeing a psychiatrist when we passed that mall. I never expected such a lucky thing to happen.
After I got on stage, Siyang held my hand as he spoke. He wasn't famous then; although he had acted in some TV dramas, not many people knew him. I just thought this handsome guy was incredibly gentle. Near the end, while the host was speaking, he suddenly asked me in a low voice if I was feeling down.
I was stunned and could only nod.
To my surprise, he told me to look up at the sky. He said, "Look, the weather is great today, and tomorrow will be sunny too. You have your own cuteness, and your dress is very beautiful. Everyone is applauding for you. You have things that others don't. Doesn't it feel a bit better when you think of it that way?"
I walked off the stage in a daze. Before I left, he even waved at me. It was only then that the weight of his words hit me, and I ran into my mother’s arms and cried.
From that moment on, I gradually became more confident and stopped being so timid. He was right—those people weren't worth my sadness. I had things they didn't.
Later, when those boys picked on me, I snapped back. The effect was surprisingly good; they probably never expected me to resist. After a few times, they stopped bothering me. My grades recovered, and my high school entrance exam scores left those boys in the dust. They were crying while I was laughing.
So, you could say Siyang is my life mentor. He didn't have to care about the feelings of a random stranger, but he noticed. Since then, I’ve followed every drama and movie he’s been in. I know there are many people in the world more outstanding than him, but I still like him the most.
Because he saved the nearly broken heart of a young girl.
